Nicely detailed Greek neo-classical design figures around the piece. Probably designed as a cache pot or planter. But, your imagination is the only limit for its display uses. The bottom is marked WEDGWOOD, H, and has either a 6 or 9 imprinted. Since it doesn't have the England or Made in England mark, it was produced before McKinley Tariff Act of 1891. The H could indicate a 1879 date since occasionally the Majolica dating letters were used on Jasperware. Please use your own judgement. It is a wonderful estate piece to start or add to your collection. If you have any questions please ask! Check out our other items! No chips, cracks, damage, or repair.
