A nice example of a 19th century English Wedgwood light blue Jasper plaque with a classical relief figure, half man and half goat, possibly Pan, mounted under glass in a molded period giltwood frame. Pan is considered to be one of the oldest of Greek gods He is associated with nature, wooded areas and pasturelands, from which his name is derived. Good overall condition, with some minor crack and imperfections, as well as minor spot discolorations.
